De Vere Beaumont Estate
This stunning venue, with its 18th-century mansion, chapel, and Georgian white house, is set in 40 acres of parkland and has a very quintessential English feel.
There’s something for everyone at this flexible venue, which benefits from a range of styles, including modern country house and contemporary.
The De Vere Beaumont Estate is located in Old Windsor, Berkshire, and Egham station is just three miles from the hotel, with connections to London Waterloo and Reading.
It’s also very convenient for international guests as Heathrow airport is only 15 minutes away.
It offers more than 75 large and small event spaces, including the modern Hanover Suite which can accommodate up to 700 conference guests. The suite has state-of-the-art technology and AV.
You can enjoy some team building activities in the grounds, take a boat trip along the River Thames or enjoy a show at the Theatre Royal Windsor.
Farleigh Wallop
This Hampshire country house and estate is just an hour from London and is easily accessible from Heathrow and the south coast.
The house and 4,000 acre estate can be hired for private use.
The surroundings are spectacular and numerous activities are available on-site, including nature and wildlife walks, truffle hunting, archery, falconry and clay pigeon shooting.
There are 11 guest bedrooms which sleep up to 21, and event space for up to 40 people.
Farleigh Wallop’s private chef can create menus for casual barbecues around the swimming pool or formal dinners.
Gleneagles
This luxury five star hotel has 205 beautiful bedrooms and 28 luxury suites.
It is a top-class venue with relaxed charm, impeccable service and great attention to detail – we’ve found the Gleneagles event team to be an absolute pleasure to work with.
Gleneagles is on the main London to Inverness railway line – and even has its own train station which is just two minutes from the hotel. Edinburgh and Glasgow airports are an hour’s drive away.
It has a range of flexible event spaces and a huge number of country pursuits are available, including shooting, fishing, off-road driving and horse riding.
Other activities include tennis lessons, tree climbing and zip wiring, photography, lawn games and cycling.
The Goodwood Estate
If you want to organise an event that offers your guests something they haven’t done before, The Goodwood Estate is definitely worth considering.
There’s top class hospitality on offer at the racecourse, the Festival of Speed or the Goodwood Revival – or your guests can take part in adrenaline-filled activities such as driving the Goodwood Motor Circuit or taking a flight in a gravity jet suit.
There’s also a wide variety of accommodation and event spaces to choose from, including Goodwood House which is wheelchair accessible, can accommodate up to 180 guests for dinner and has flexible event spaces.
The Goodwood Hotel is another fantastic option – it’s surrounded by 12,000 acres of parkland and woodland and offers stylish, modern bedrooms and impressive event spaces suitable for conferences, board meetings and private dinners.
Goodwood is also easy to get to – it’s only 60 miles from London, 30 miles from Brighton and just a short taxi ride from Chichester railway station.
The Grove
Surrounded by 300 acres of beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, The Grove is just 18 miles from London and a short taxi ride from Watford Junction station.
It offers 215 bedrooms and 28 modern meeting and event spaces – many of which have natural daylight, garden views and outdoor access.
There’s also a golf course, spa, fitness centre, and a range of activities on offer including ferret racing, foraging, assault courses or gourmet cookery classes.
With a selection of restaurants and bars to choose from, this is a very flexible venue and everything you need is on site.
